  1. I stumbled upon this Podcast on iTunes. I have really enjoyed listening to 501stCast. I downloaded all the casts since the beginning. But I do have a question: Can I join the Legion with a replica costume, made with plastic, that I purchased online? I have not bought it, because I don’t want to buy something and not be able to wear it. And I really want to join the Legion.

  2. Thanks, Chris! Your question is common and the answer really depends on the quality and craftsmanship of your costume. Off the shelf storebought costumes rarely pass for membership unless heavily modified. I would recommend visiting one of our 501st Detachment message boards for peer feedback and tips: http://www.501st.com/resources.php

  3. Hey guys! thanks for another great podcast!

thanks for the squad 66 anniversary shoutout, we ourselves forgot about it.

While I can’t aid a lot in naming the “top 10 stormtrooper crossovers”, I can add at least one for you – the “irish stormtrooper” in the left side of the picture on #9, is Squad 66’s own Andy McCormick – TK2166.

Keep up the great work guys!

  4. You guys changed the URL of the podcast. Both the old and new one are available through iTunes… you might want to look into it.

BTW, 44 in Roman Numerals is XLIV. 🙂

  5. Dean will have to chime in on the iTunes part as I don’t use that. I think he knew that both the old and new subscriptions were available though.
Thanks for the roman numeral correction.

  6. Thanks Steve! Our Squad Leader Brandon just let me know about this. Thanks for the heads up! Yes that’s me on the left there. My Hat fell down! I had it stuffed with tissue paper which turned out to be a bad idea once it started raining. 🙁
